How do I care for my Stand Up Paddleboard?
How do I care for my Stand Up Paddleboard?
- Take care of your paddleboard to avoid cracks, scratches, and dents.
- Keep paddleboard and traction pad out of direct sun when not in use.
- It is good practice to remove the fins from your SUP after each use.
- Store your paddleboard in a dry, cool place and remove it from your board bag when wet.
- If you use the board in salt water conditions, rinse the board with fresh water after each use.
- Rinse the Auto air-vent area with water when you wash off your boards to keep salt water from crusting up the system.
Cleaning Tips
For scuffs on your rails (the white edges of your Paiwen SUP), the best cleaning tip is to use Mr. Clean magic erasers.
Deckpad cleaning, use a soft bristle scrub brush and dish soap. If it is a major clean up, try some Simple Green followed by Sunlight dish soap, and a scrub brush (medium bristle).
