What is the purpose of an Auto Air-Vent?
Like all top quality manufacturers, all Paiwen Boards have auto Air Vents. Our vents are located near the fins on the bottom deck to keep the board looking its best. Air pressure can build up internally when going up/down in elevation or under heat. This vent is to release pressurized air from within the EPS foam core of the board, saving your board from potential issues caused as a result of this pressure. Our Air Vents DO NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED. They are self regulating (allow for air to move in and out without opening the valve). Just rinse the vent area with water when you wash off your boards to keep salt water from crusting up the system.
